  1. Oh please do DIY some of that glassware, then it would match the shower curtain! Now I kind of want a house filled with polka dotted things... Also, right after I click the Publish button, I'm going to go prep the tea kettle, now if only I had some muffins too...

    1. Eep, you're right, the dishes would match the shower curtain! I guess I'm having a gold-polka-dots moment. They're just so fun and festive! ...and now I want some tea, too... I have to watch it in the winter, I want to drink cozy warm tea constantly but if I don't alternate between black tea and herbal, I get very caffeinated very quickly! :P

    1. Thanks so much for your kind words, Sam! I especially love the painting too... and it's very different from Simberg's other paintings, it's much more serene. Oh gosh, Pinterest is so fun-- I'm JulieRoseSews on there as well. Thank you for stopping by!

  3. Lovely post, has put a smile on my face on a dreary tuesday morning.
That locket is gorgeous, and I wish I liked tea, I'm obsessed with tea pots and mugs at the minute but have no use for them :(

    1. Aw, you don't like tea? It does take some getting used to-- I still put a lot of milk in mine! There are so many fun flavors now. Davidstea.com is a great place to get flavors like birthday cake and salted caramel. And if tea just doesn't appeal to you-- there is nothing wrong with using a tea pot for other drinks or for holding a bouquet! :)

  4. When I got to the cat, I thought my life couldn't get any better, and then I saw the otter and I'm all melty now. Perfect Monday post!
