Here's what I love this week.
this beautiful photo of the fairies, including Vivien Leigh as Titania, from a 1937 film version of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'
this cute and easy DIY paper lantern
this painting by Ivan Slavinsky
these cozy socks and flannel shirt-- here's the pattern for the socks!
this idea for a hanging centerpiece-- it won't get moved from the table to the floor halfway through dinner like traditional centerpieces.
Can you tell that I'm ready to jump straight from Halloween into the holiday season?
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Ah! I know what my next knitting project is going to be! Those look so warm, I'm going to knit them in a dark brown. Will you knit a pair too?ReplyDelete
Don't they look cozy!? Perfect for curling up with knitting or a book. I'd love to knit a pair... It might be a good first sock, too, because I wouldn't have to knit on it for aaaaages before seeming to get any progress! I'm a little intimidated by the size 13 DPNs, but it would be worth it to make some snuggly socks. I'll probably do the same oatmeal color shown in the photo. :) bloggy knitalong!Delete
