Hi there, I hope you're having a wonderful week!
Here's a little peek into my life lately.
I don't think it's possible to be in a bad mood while wearing a kitty-print dress, especially celestial kitties with stars in them.
...or when looking at these little guys. They're best buddies.
This is one of my favorite yarns I've ever knit with-- it's Dream in Color Smooshy in the Into the Mystic colorway. I'm working on some socks in this yarn, which I'll be posting soon!
Ducks on an unusually warm day-- bottoms up!
chocolate chip cookies! Fun fact: I like chocolate chip cookies to be crunchy, and the only way I've discovered to consistently get crunchy cookies is to do all the mixing by hand with a wooden spoon, not an electric mixer. Adding an extra two teaspoons of vanilla seems to help, too.
Have a beautiful afternoon!
You can never have too much vanilla can you? I have been tempted to try making my own extract from vanilla beans, have you ever tried that before? And you are now the coolest person I know for having a kitty-print dress! I'm glad to hear that you and your kitties are well!ReplyDelete
No such thing! Oooh, I haven't tried that! The lovely Paula, of the Knitting Pipeline podcast, posted a recipe though, and discusses it on episode 113. http://www.knittingpipeline.com/2012/12/episode-113-handmade-christmas-2012.html And oh my goodness, thank you! Heehee. When I saw that dress online, my thought process was just, "Kitties! Science-fiction star kitties! Mine mine mine!" I hope you're having a great week! ♥Delete
The dress is adorable! And so are the cats.ReplyDelete
The cookies look delicious. I'm terrible at making biscuits, I always burn them! Oh I would kill for a breakfast cookie now.
Aw, thank you so much! Bucky and Cocoa say thank you, too-- they're very vain little guys and love to preen for the camera. Ooh... breakfast cookies. What an intriguing concept! (Although if it's just having cookies for breakfast...I've been known to do that on occasion.)Delete
What cute photos :)ReplyDelete
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed them!Delete
