museum of natural history pt. 2

Just some photos of the animal section of the Museum of Natural History... It's always weird taking pictures of animals there because...y'know... they don't actually go anywhere.  You can stand there all day and take pictures, but the animals are going to stay just exactly the way they are.  It's been a while since I've been to the Museum, and I think it sort of slipped my mind, because I found their stationary behavior particularly bizarre this time.  Although it would be much more bizarre if they were to stop being stationary.  But anyway.

That last one is actually from the dinosaur exhibit, but since I'm not much of a dinosaur person that was the only photo I took.  I like the thought of dinosaurs, which I generally think of as being on the ferocious-and-slimy side, making sure that their kids had a nice, cozy, dry egg.

  4. Well, I hope she likes them-- just to clarify, though, these are photos from a museum, not from a zoo, so they're not live animals, and some of them are replicas of extinct creatures. Just so you know. :)
